Creamy Peanut Dip
Wow, this weekend absolutely flew by! The little one has started all of her summer activities (though it feels literally nothing like summer here – perhaps late fall at best), so we are on the move at all times.
We have been super busy with prepping for our move later this month, so we haven’t had much time to make meals or even sit down for very long to eat.
This dip is perfect for those kind of days. It only takes a few minutes to make and it goes perfectly on sandwiches, with veggies, or on crackers. You could even add a bit of olive oil to it to create a salad dressing – it’s so versatile!
The dip is slightly sweet with the addition of the peanut butter and cinnamon, but it kind of sneaks up on you with a hit of spice with the sriracha. This dual nature of the dip makes it perfect for pairing with just about anything, as it will really take on the flavors you mix with it. I like using a crunchy, natural peanut butter for it, but you could also use creamy or even a nut butter – the choice is yours.
- ½ cup Vegan Mayo
- 2 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cumin
- ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
- Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend until well-combined. Taste and add more seasoning if needed to suit your tastes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
