Crowdsource Recipe Testing: April 8th
Happy Easter, everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day planned with family and friends (regardless if you celebrate Easter or not). Also, I encourage everyone to share their love and compassion with those closest to you as well as all living creatures today. It’s also a great opportunity to spread the message of veganism via baketivism – so be sure to cook up some tasty vegan dishes for your get-together!
Here are this weeks nom-nomiest looking vegan noms on the interwebs:
Oreo Cheesecake Cookies - Oreos and cheesecake are two of my favorite desserts and this recipe combines the two into an easy cookie recipe! Amazing! Cheesecake can be such a time-consuming thing so this recipe helps those of us who love cheesecake yet need instant gratification (not that I’m impatient or anything).

Kala Jamun - Still fully obsessed with Indian eats. This recipe for Indian donuts has both a fried and baked version, though we all know things are better when fried (even if our figures don’t think so).

Carrot-Ginger Dressing - After a juice cleanse I always have lots of ginger and carrots leftover and I always struggle to find new ways to use both. This recipe is an inventive way to get good use out of these flavorful ingredients.
Spring Carrot Cake – Yet another way to use up some of my leftover carrots! I adore carrot cake since I’m more of a savory dessert person and this one is so cute I could just pinch its cheeks – or just put it in my belly.
Papaya-Lime Coconut Muffins – This is one of the more exotic recipes I came across this week and one of the reasons I love it is because it reminds me of the beach. Anything that conjures images of warm weather and white sandy beaches is enough for me to give it a go!
Have a wonderful holiday – I hope you all had a chance to read my interview with Peter at Ready for Plan B and his vegan testimonials project!
