Crowdsource Recipe Testing: December 16th

Good morning and happy Sunday to everyone! I hope this post finds you and your family well. With all of the recent violence in the U.S., I think it’s important for all of us to start taking a moment each day and meditating on what we’re grateful for and taking a few extra minutes everyday to hug the ones we love. If you are into resolutions, then this should be at the top of your list.
Today’s crowdsource post doesn’t have a theme – just scrumptious-looking vegan eats from across the interwebs. I hope you enjoy these dishes and let me know if you make any of them this week!
Chocolate Covered Peanut Brittle with Habenero – Oh my – I don’t have many words for this one. I adore the combo of chocolate and peppers and peanut brittle is always awesome – especially around the holidays. I’ll let the picture do the talking for this one.
Italian Sausage Hummus Wrap - I love this idea for an appetizer for a holiday party. It’s such an easy bite to put together and the prep time is next to nothing – which makes it a perfect choice for the busy holiday season.
Molasses Crisps – Molasses is a traditional holiday flavor and this vegan version of the classic molasses crisp cookie would be perfect for serving at a cookie swap or to take to a work potluck.
Blackberry Swirl Cornbread - I love me some cornbread and this delicious take on the classic southern dish is gluten-free to boot! I love the idea of adding a little bit of tartness to the cornbread and the beautiful presentation would look great on a holiday table!
Salted Maple Walnut & Vanilla Bean Chocolate Cups – Both rich and festive, this would be a great candy to wrap up and give as a gift to someone special on your list!

I am going to try to be better about posting this week. I am still tweaking the new blog design/format a little, so please be patient with me for the next week or so.
