Crowdsource Recipe Testing: January 21st
Hi all! I hope you all had a nice weekend. We were definitely productive around the house – though what started as a quest to find a chair turned into buying a new living room set!
Today I’m back again with another crowdsource recipe testing post! This is becoming one of my favorite posts, mostly because I get to justify all of my hours spent staring at vegan ‘food porn’ on the interwebs. Here’s the best-looking recipes I came across this week:
French Lentil Soup w/Tomatoes, Tarragon, & Garlic – I’m a huge lentil fan and the pictures of this are just fantastic. If it tastes even half as good as it looks it might be my new favorite dish. (Image Credit: The First Mess)
Vegan ‘Bacon’ Maple Bars – These need to be in my belly like 5 minutes ago.
Mint Chocolate Mint Avocado Layer Cake – Lots of my favorites going on here: Avocado, Chocolate, and Mint. Plus it’s raw so it’s gotta be healthy, right? (Image Credit: Pure2Raw)
Vegan Miso Butternut Squash Ramen – And I thought Ramen was just for college kids – this elevates the dish to a completely different level.
Chocolate Peanut Chipotle Cookies – Spicy chocolate, what more could I ask for?
If you get a chance to try out any of these recipes let me know how it goes! I really want to try the cookies and the lentil soup – hopefully I can find enough time to do that this week!
Oh, one last thing: I finally got around to making that caramelized onion bacon dip. It was AMAZING!
Did you make any of the recipes from last week?
