Intuitive Cooking: Spicy Snack Mix

It’s finally Friday, everyone! I have to say, it’s been quite a long week filled with photo shoots and meetings, so I’m happy to have some time to unwind this weekend. With the NFL draft happening today and throughout the weekend and other opportunities for get-togethers, I thought a quick snack would be the perfect topic for today’s intuitive cooking post.
This is very quick and easy intuitive cooking recipe and it is also very flexible. You can pretty much use whatever nuts and seeds you have on hand as well as any cereal you like. You can also mix up the spices to suit your personal tastes. You could even make this a sweeter snack by adding a little sugar and cinnamon.
If you aren’t into using oil in your cooking, feel free to spray your mixing bowl with some non-stick cooking spray rather than tossing the mix in olive oil. I find that the olive oil helps everything stick a little better, but it works either way. This snack packs up great and it’s full of protein and other energy boosters so it makes the perfect snack to take along on a hike or to other activities. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this tasty snack!
