Steep & Go Product Review

As some of you may know I do a little work for Crazy Bitch Tea and so I attended the World Tea Expo a few weeks ago in Vegas. I was impressed by one product in particular, the Steep & Go, and knew I wanted to share it with you guys.

This little gem is a seemingly simple device that allows you to enjoy cold-brewed, loose-leaf tea anywhere, anytime. The plastic, dishwasher safe filter was created by the engineers at The Tea Spot, a company devoted to making loose-leaf tea more accessible to the mass market. Like much of their other Steepware, the Steep & Go is designed for portability and ease-of-use.

Maybe it’s just the time of year, but I really love this product because it allows me to enjoy cold tea on the go without having to purchase a pre-bottled tea that has added sugars or preservatives. Also, it is very easy to use. You just open a bottle of water, add in a teaspoon of your favorite loose-leaf tea, twist on the infuser, and let is sit for about 10 minutes. Once the tea is steeped, you just twist the sports cap and drink! No leaves get in your mouth and because it’s cold-brewed, you don’t have to worry as much about over-steeping the tea.

The Steep & Go will be on shelves later this month and it will come in four colors: green, blue, purple, and orange. The unit will retail for about $6.99, but once the product is available to the mass market, I am going to do a giveaway of the product to one of you! That’s how much I love it!
