Sunday Funday: Vegan MoFo Week 2
Week two of Vegan MoFo 2013 is in the books! I had a great time in Greece – I don’t know about you all! I loved all of your favorite camping stories – some of you definitely have had some fun/interesting times!
This week fall finally made its way to town, and many of the delicious Vegan MoFo recipes I saw reflected that fall feeling. My roundup this week contains recipes that remind me of fall and that are getting me excited for the changing seasons.
These caramel apples from The Queen V Kitchen look fantastic, even though the recipe didn’t quite turn out as she expected. I am looking forward to when the recipe is ready – caramel apples are always a delicious fall treat that remind me of Halloween.
I love coffee, and even though I can’t have much due to some nasty acid reflux, I do enjoy it as a treat every now and then. I am so excited to try out this vanilla hazelnut creamer from Kathy Hester‘s new book – and it’s soy-free to boot!
Cookies always get me thinking about the holidays. I like to whip up loads of different kinds for family and friends, and I’ll definitely be adding these brown rice peanut butter and jelly thumbprint cookies to the list this year!
I made applesauce the other day, but I wish I had this recipe for apple spiced refrigerator jam beforehand – looks delicious and isn’t packed with tons of sugar! Yum!
I am a sucker for anything spiced during the fall, and these apple spice muffins are no exception! The crumb on these looks absolutely to die for. Must. Make. Now.
Next week we are headed to my friends to the north – Canada! I also have a fun giveaway this week that I think you all will enjoy. Stay tuned!
