Vegan MoFo 3.1 | Going to Canada + A Giveaway!
This week we are headed to Canada. Being from Minnesota, I have traveled to our neighbor to the north several times, though I haven’t even begun to cover the breadth of what Canada has to offer. One of my favorite places in Canada is Toronto – it’s a bustling city with a decidedly European feel and so much to do that your mind could very well explode from all the options.
I love the city’s art scene and the foodie scene is quite happening as well. I dined very well each time I was in Canada, and I had all of the classically Canadian dishes. Since I’m trying to give you an overview of Canadian food this week, I stuck with mostly common dishes that many of you have probably heard of. Up this week we have:
- My own spin on Poutine.
- Butter Tarts.
- A little something special involving maple syrup.
Also, since we are traveling this month, I wanted to do a give you all a way to document it (well, probably not necessary to document a staycation, but next time you head out of town you can have a record of it). This week I’m giving away a Moleskine Travel Journal that has all kinds of great tools that will help you keep track of your vacation as well as any information you need to make travel easier.
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment and tell me if you’ve been to Canada and if you have, what your favorite part of your trip was! Enter by midnight on Thursday, September 19th!
Note: I paid for the journal myself and was in no way compensated for my mention of Moleskine.
